Well today has been one long day. I got called into work 3 hours before I was originally suppose to be there. I was really hoping I was going to be able to sleep in today but as you can see that did not happen. Anyways after I got off work at 4 I got to spend time with my amazing boyfriend. We had an amazing dinner at O'Charleys and then we just hung out together at his house.

School

There are only six weeks of school left! In those six weeks though there are so many papers, projects and test to worry about. I know that in my own life I am super stressed out about the end of the semester coming so fast. There is no matter how hard I try to stay caught up it never fails that I forget to do something and fall behind in something. No matter what is going on right now I will manage all of my work and get it all done by the end of the semester. That is my last goal of the semester.

Miss Relay For Life

I have just gotten done competing in the Miss Relay For Life Pageant. The pageant was amazing. All the girls looked absolute gorgeous. The pageant was so much fun. The first portion of the pageant was the casual wear. This was the most nerve racking part because it was the first time we walked out on stage. All of the girls made it through without falling or anything like that. The next part was the formal wear. This is when all the cute, puffy evening gowns were worn and everybody looked amazing. I had so much fun in this pageant and I would compete in it again in a heartbeat.

Life

life is so crazy right now. all my families health problems are getting worse. i need a lot of strength to get through the weeks now. my great uncle has been put in an assisted living and it is extremely hard to see him there. although he is extremely happy it just does not feel right walking in there to see him. i miss seeing him at my great aunt and uncles house.

My Aggravating Brother

My brother, Caleb, is so annoying sometimes. If I am home he always finds some way to aggravate me. Caleb loves to beat me up and push me into any wall he can get me into. Although I love my brother he is so aggravating. Caleb and I have always fought with each other but as we have gotten older our fights have narrowed down. We have both realized that we love each other and that we will always be best friends. My brother is so crazy. Although he is so aggravating he also has his moments where he is so sweet but that is very rare.

End of Spring Break

My spring break has been so relaxing. I know that it has been filled with me working a lot but I would much rather work than go to school. I love my job and would not give it up for anything. I also have spent a lot of well needed time with my boyfriend. My spring break has been amazing. As my spring break comes to an end I am spending it in Georgetown with my wonderful family. Spring break is a great week to relax and catch up on your sleep. Mine was absolutely amazing.

College Life

I have to admit that being in college has put a whole new meaning on life. College is not a thing like they said it would be in high school. High school teachers do not prepare you for college at all. In college some students have to much freedom and never get any of their homework done. College students are usually out partying with their friends and not paying attention to any of their school work. The life of a college student is much more difficult than any high school teacher said it would be. All I have to say is to be prepared for a lot more than any of your high school teachers said.

Spring Break

Hallelujah! Spring Break is finally here! It could not have gotten here any sooner than it did. I am so excited that spring break is here. I really wish the weather was a little warmer but being able to sleep in is going to be amazing. I need sleep so bad. Also, I need time to catch up on some homework and classwork. Time off from school and getting to lay around all day for a whole week is absolutely amazing. I am also excited to be able to go somewhere the last part of my spring break to watch my brother play baseball and spend time with my family.

Saturday Night

It is a Saturday night and I have had so much fun. I have been beat twice in bowling and beat my boyfriend once. I needed a "date" night so bad. We went and had a blast eating, shopping at the mall, bowling and hanging out together. I have the best life any girl could ever asked for. I have the best boyfriend and I can see myself with him forever. Every moment we get to spend with each other is absolutely amazing. He is my dream guy. Nobody can take him away from me. Every girl needs to find a guy like I did.

Blogs

I have no idea what to write about. I have never been able to come up with topics that well. These blogs get me every week when i am trying to find something to write about. Most of the time I wait to the last minute to write these because I never know what to write about. I am always pushing my boyfriend to write his blogs but I am always struggling with mine. I am also stressed up to my eyeballs so I think that that might be part of the problem as well. I also usually forget about these blogs because I have so much other work to do.

Stress

Stress is a number one issue that college students face today. College students become extremely stress when they have a lot of test, papers and even projects due in one week or even a couple weeks close together. Professors need to be extremely patient with their students because we have more than just their class to do papers and projects to complete and test to study for. Students would be able to get these assignments done in a more timely fashion if they had a specific plan and put these assignments on a to-do list or a schedule of when everything is due.

Technology and Our Society Today

Technology is a big part of our world now. If it was not for technology than our educational systems, business systems, and even our mail systems would be so much more different. Teachers rely on technology a lot to be in contact with their students and make sure they have their assignments turned in on time. Businesses rely on technology because most of the things they have to do are done on a laptop or a desktop computer. A lot of the business people have an internet that will go with them anywhere they need for it to be. The mail system also relies on technology a lot because they put all of their addresses and route adjustments are done on the computer. Before long everybody will need a computer to send their messages to one another because no one will be sending letters.

Advice to High School Students

High school students have it made right now. If I could give them any advice it would be to enjoy being in high school and don't rush graduation. In college you don't get babied like you do in high school. You are responsible for the due dates and aren't reminded of them every time you go to class. High school is supposedly preparing you for college but they basically spoon feed you so you aren't really getting prepared for college. High school is nothing like college so all I have to say is enjoy your time in high school as much as you can.

Bahamas

My dream trip would be to the Bahamas. I would love to go to the Bahamas because I have heard that it is so beautiful there. Going to the Bahamas would give me a chance to get away and relax. I would love to go there with my wonderful boyfriend and spend time with just him. The Bahamas seems to be a place where you can go and have fun and forget all the stressful things you have on your mind. I would give anything to go on a cruise to the Bahamas just so I can enjoy myself and have fun. My trip will be absolutely amazing.

My Favorite Teacher

I would have to say that my 5th grade teacher was my favorite. She always knew the right things to help her students get through a hard time he/she was going through. Mrs. Magdic was so caring and sweet. That is exactly how I want my students to think of me. Mrs. Magdic not only was someone to help you through your troubles but she always helped you pass an assignment or test that she had given you. She was a one of a kind teacher. Mrs. Magdic was one of the main reasons I decided to become an education major.

Hot Chocolate or Coffee?

In my opinion, hot chocolote is much better than coffee. Hot chocolate has a rich chocolate taste to it and coffee just has a bland taste to it. The smell of hot chocolate is amazing. Hot chocolate doesn't neccessarily wake you up as much as coffee does but it helps a little bit. If you like the creamer that can be added to coffee you may also spice up your hot chocolate by adding some creamer in it as well. I have never really liked the taste or smell of coffee. But I love the taste and smell of hot chocolate. Hot chocolate is amazing!!!!
